EY appoints Partners in UK and Ireland People Advisory Services practice
Big Four firm EY is continuing to grow its People Advisory Services practice in the UK and Ireland with the appointment of Jill Trafford and Susan Hunter as Partners. The duo bring more than 45 years of professional services experience between them.
EY’s People Advisory Services (PAS) in the firm’s human capital advisory business, with the team helping global and local businesses with their human resources needs in the digital age. People Advisory Services works with clients to harness their people agenda as part of an integrated business strategy, something which can translate into competitive advantage by helping them get the right people, with the right capabilities at the right time. EY has continued the expansion of its PAS practice in the UK and Ireland with the appointment of two Partners.
Jill Trafford joins EY’s Digital HR competency in PAS in London. She brings over 25 years of HR transformation experience, during which she has worked across Europe and Hong Kong on HR and People Strategies for global organisations, designing and implementing new HR operating models, and supporting the selection of new HR Technology. Trafford has spent the last decade in consulting roles, most recently leading the HR & Technology Advisory practice as a Director at Big Four rival Deloitte.
Susan Hunter also joins EY’s PAS practice, this time in Glasgow, operating across multiple competency areas with a focus on transactions and transformation. Hunter brings extensive experience of corporate strategy implementation, business transformation and operations in the global shipping and integrated logistics industry. She has held senior management positions focusing on business transformation, value creation, business growth and development, including most recently being the Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminal Bahrain, where she was responsible for the day to day management and performance of Bahrain’s only commercial port facility, Khalifa Bin Salman Port.

Nelson herself was recently appointed to her role at EY, being promoted to Managing Partner after more than 10 years with the firm. She will now lead the practice of EY UK & Ireland, working closely with all EY’s service lines to support and work with clients to address some of the most complex people challenges businesses have faced in a generation.
