FTI Consulting adds trio to Technology division in the UK & Ireland

Global consulting firm FTI Consulting has expanded its Technology division in the UK and Ireland with the appointment of three seniors.

Amber Gosney, Luisa Resmerita and Inés Rubio all join FTI Consulting’s Information Governance, Privacy & Security practice. This practice supports clients with technology governance, privacy, IT compliance, cybersecurity, digital forensics, investigations and e-discovery services, and the delivery of information technology projects.

Based in London, Amber Gosney has been appointed a Senior Director, bringing nearly a decade of experience in technology implementation and project management. She joins the consulting firm from rival Ankura, where she was a Senior Director. Earlier in her career, she served Navigant and FTI Consulting in her first spell at the consultancy.

During her consulting career, has led diverse and complex projects, including data privacy remediation programs, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, M&A reviews and second requests, internal investigations, GDPR compliance and data subject access requests. 

Based in Dublin, Inés Rubio is a Senior Director and certified expert across technical and legal data privacy, information governance and e-discovery matters. With a background in international criminal law and legal technology, as well as expertise spanning digital forensics, governance, security and privacy, she focuses on helping clients develop strategy at the intersection between e-discovery and information governance. 

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, she served as Head of Information Management and Incident Response at BSI and has held numerous legal, e-discovery and digital forensics positions, including a role at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. 

Based in London, Luisa Resmerita is a certified data protection advisor and an expert in privacy. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, she served in technology, implementation and compliance consulting roles at Accenture, OneTrust and Ankura. 

She specialises in international commercial law and focuses on supporting clients throughout their global privacy journey, including maturity assessments, remediation, operationalisation and management of data protection compliance and associated risks and costs. 

Their appointments are part of a wider intake of senior professionals across the Information Governance, Privacy & Security practice globally, including Ben Crew in Dubai and Tim de Sousa in Australia.
