Oliver Wyman senior partner Neil Reid joins AlixPartners
Following a 25-year career at Oliver Wyman, Neil Reid has joined global consulting counterpart AlixPartners.
Appointed a managing director in its Financial Services practice, Neil Reid has been tasked with expanding AlixPartners’ footprint in the financial services industry. He will work closely with the firm’s global head of financial services Robert Urtheil (based in Germany) and London-based managing directors including Eric Benedict, James Worsnip, Paul Kelly, Carl Hanson and Stelios Fragkos.
Reid brings over 25 years of experience to the firm, all of which he gained at Oliver Wyman. He joined the firm in 1995, and has over the years held a range of leadership roles, including heading the EMEA Finance & Risk practice before subsequently leading the EMEA Financial Services practice and becoming the Managing Partner of the Qatar office.
During his career, his focus has mainly been on clients in the financial services sector, working with banks and central regulatory banks on the delivery of business transformation strategies and change management. Reid has also advised public sector clients across Europe and the Middle East.
Commenting on the high-profile hire, the CEO of AlixPartners Simon Freakley said, “Neil brings extensive industry experience and a proven leadership track record in change management. His unique experience of working with banks will be of significant benefit as we help clients to navigate the continuous disruptive forces facing the financial industry.”
Reid is based in AlixPartners’ London office, one of its nine offices in the EMEA region.
Earlier this year, AlixPartners was named one of UK’s top 25 strategy consulting firms.
