Bain & Company adds senior advisors to financial services team
Bain & Company has boosted its Financial Services practice in the UK with a quartet of new hires. Graeme Jeffery, Nishma Gosrani and Jeff Tijssen join as Partners, while Christina Schulz arrives as an Associate Partner at the strategy consulting firm.
Graeme Jeffery joins as a Partner with a focus on capital markets and wholesale banking. An expert with 25 years of banking and strategy experience with international institutions including HSBC, Oliver Wyman, Goldman Sachs, UBS and JPMorgan Chase, he has also worked with other players across the broader financial services ecosystem, such as market infrastructure and fintech companies.
Jeffrey specialises in performance improvement, customer experience and managing economic crime risk.
Nishma Gosrani arrives as an Expert Partner, with 18 years of Big Four consulting experience in designing and deploying strategic people initiatives. Most recently Gosrani spent eight years with Deloitte, where she was a Director in its Financial Services consulting division. She also spent an extended spell with PwC, where she was a Manager.
Being passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion in banking, she received an OBE in the Queen’s 2020 New Year Honours List for services to Diversity and Inclusion, for pioneering gender pay gap reporting and the subsequent changes to the Equality Act.
Jeff Tijssen also joins as an Expert Partner, and likewise boasts extensive expertise in corporate culture and FinTech, with more than 15 years of consulting experience working with financial services institutions globally, advising leaders on how to successfully transform their organisations and develop new innovative business models. He brings extensive expertise within strategy, innovation, fintech, and building digital ventures.
Prior to joining Bain & Company, Tijssen led the consulting business at boutique player 11:FS.
Christina Schulz joins as an Associate Partner with a focus on strategy and transformation. She brings more than two decades of experience in consulting and financial services with global expertise in strategy and transformation at HSBC, Marsh & McLennan and other global consultancies.
Schulz led multiple programmes across retail and corporate banking, investment banking and insurance with a focus on building agile teams, designing and implementing target-operating models across middle and back office operations, and digital business unit strategy.
