Levene Consulting adds Promena to procurement offering
Levene Consulting has agreed a new partnership with ZER. The deal will allow the Turkish conglomerate to bring its Promena procurement solution to the UK market.
Procurement is undergoing major changes in the UK in 2021. From currency shifts to new emerging supply markets, existing supply sources losing advantage, or even the overall cost of managing offshore supply chains versus local changing dramatically, supply chains were already under pressure before Brexit and Covid-19 further exacerbated the situation. Businesses adopting digital processes has been key to boosting their agility in responding to these challenges.
Founded in 2016, Levene Consulting is a boutique consultancy firm based in London. Providing a broad mix of consultancy services to private, public and social sector institutions, the firm’s list of clients already includes Ford, RLE International, Rehber Consulting and Horizon Systems, among others.
Now, as the firm looks to support clients navigating the UK’s shifting procurement landscape, it has announced a new partnership with ZER (also known as KOÇ Group) – the largest industrial conglomerate in Turkey. The only company in the country to enter the Fortune Global 500 list as of 2016, the Istanbul headquartered company is controlled by the Koç family, one of Turkey's wealthiest families.
The deal will see Levene incorporate ZER’s e-sourcing and e-procurement platform into its offering. The Promena tool is an affordable platform aimed at mid-market players, providing streamlined support for supplier information management, allowing suppliers to self-register via a link, answer detailed questionnaires via the form creation capability and assign themselves into a category.
Procurement organisations can also manage multiple activities, including sourcing event creation, supplier on-boarding, and basic product and catalogue maintenance.
Commenting on the news, Levene Consulting's founder Caglar Oner said, “Supply chain management has become one of the biggest problems that all companies focus on to tackle. The Brexit uncertainty makes it even more compelling for British business owners who especially deals with non-UK suppliers. This partnership will empower British companies in managing their supply chain, supplier relationship, sourcing and procurement operations effectively.”
