Grant Thornton takes up new office in Manchester city centre

Grant Thornton has penned a contract to take up a new 15-year residence in Manchester’s city centre. The news will see the firm’s entire Manchester team relocate from Spinningfields to a new office overlooking St Peter’s Square.

The 350-strong Manchester wing of Grant Thornton works with clients in the North West of England, looking to meet the audit, tax and advisory needs of privately held businesses, public companies, and not-for-profit organisations across all sectors. The local team has access to the firm’s global network, leveraging an international group of professionals in order to further bolster its capacity to this end.

As the firm looks to better position itself to assist clients in the region in the years ahead, Grant Thornton has announced it is moving its staff to Manchester’s city centre. Later this year, the firm will take up a new residence on the 11th floor of Landmark – which benefits from a panoramic roof terrace overlooking St Peter’s Square – Grant Thornton’s new home reportedly boasts sustainability and technological credentials to, while providing a “well-connected and inspiring workspace.”

Barings Real Estate agreed a 15-year lease with Grant Thornton for the 13,219 square feet office at its Landmark office development. Leasing agents on Landmark are CBRE and Colliers International.
