Acumen appoints Chris Ellis as Global Account Director
British revenue management consultancy Acumen Commercial Insights has appointed Chris Ellis as Global Account Director.
The new director joins Acumen having spent over 15 years at Pernod Ricard (the globe’s second largest producer of wines and spirits), most recently as UK Commercial Director. He will work alongside Nick Ryan, Acumen’s Chief Commercial Officer, to strengthen the firm’s presence globally and deliver the best experience to Acumen’s clients.
What are you hoping to achieve working in the role at Acumen?
As a long time client of Acumen, I'm delighted to be joining the team. Acumen are an energetic and talented team and I'd like to blend that with my own experience client side to give our users an experience that surpasses their expectations.
What did your experience at Pernod Ricard UK teach you about revenue growth management?
Revenue growth management is a relatively new discipline in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. The best outcomes are delivered when organisations fuse world class analytical tools with their own talented teams.
It’s hard to predict what the future will be like, but what do you anticipate the future of revenue management will be like?
It will continue to develop at speed as FMCG organisations battle with numerous headwinds. Revenue growth management can be one of the most powerful levers available to drive long term value growth in turbulent times.
