Grant Thornton boosts pensions advisory with two hires
Grant Thornton has boosted its pensions advisory team with the appointment of Ramona Jones and Zoe O’Donnell, who both join the firm as Associate Director in London. According to the firm, the two new hires join a fast-growing pensions team.
Ramona Jones joins Grant Thornton from crowd investment platform Emerging Crowd, where she acted as Senior Investment Analyst for five months. Prior to this, she founded consultancy Ocean Knowledge Services in 2010 and fulfilled the role of Managing Director for four years. Between 2008 and 2011, she worked for PMSI Consulting, first as Associate Consultant and later as Account Manager. Jones started her career as Senior Analyst at Mactavish in 2005, where she worked for two and a halve years in risk consulting. She holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.
Zoe O’Donnell started her career at Aon in 2003, where she worked for almost a decade as Consultant and Actuary. In 2012, O’Donnell moved to Thomson Dickson Consulting and acted as Scheme Actuary. During her career, O’Donnell specialised in trustee and corporate scheme funding advice, de-risking projects and liability reduction, pension scheme accounting disclosures and corporate transactions.
O’Donnell holds a Bachelor degree in Actuarial Maths and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University.
