RSM appoints Ruth Chapman as Partner in Leicester office

Ruth Chapman has been named as a Partner in RSM’s Leicester office. Chapman joins the audit and advisory firm following a spell as a Director with PwC.

At a very difficult time for businesses across the Midlands, professional services firm RSM is seeing many clients look to it for support through the pandemic, the recession and impending Brexit deadline. As the firm particularly looks to service the middle market across the region, RSM has looked to strengthens its ability to offer specialist accountancy advice to an increasing portfolio of clients with complex operations; hiring Ruth Chapman as a Partner.

Chapman joins RSM within its accounting and business advisory function, and will now work to help deliver “advisory services, insights and accounting solutions for mid-market clients.” She brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, having advised owner managed and SME businesses across several director positions within the professional services sector.

Chapman joins from PwC having spent two four-year spells with the Big Four firm. Latterly, she was a Director within PwC’s My Financepartner and Wider Operate team. Between those two terms, Chapman spent six years with Prime Chartered Accountants, where she was also a Director. Previously, Chapman was employed in Deloitte’s National Accounting & Auditing (NAA) technical team for over a decade.
