Baker Tilly adds five new trainees to Chelmsford office

Accounting and consulting firm Baker Tilly has expanded its team in Chelmsford with five new trainees.

With almost 3,500 partners and staff generating a fee income of over £300 million, Baker Tilly is one of the larger professional services firms in the UK. The accountancy and advisory firm, which focuses predominantly on the mid-market, has 34 offices across the UK.

Baker Tilly’s Chelmsford office, based in Marlborough House, located at Victoria Road South, recently added five new trainees to its team. The group of trainees will be working across the areas of Tax, Assurance and Accounting & Financial Reporting. Tom Lines joins the Tax team, Lewis Brown and Joe Down will be in Assurance and Tom Moss and Amy Rodgers will be working in Outsourcing, part of the Accounting & Financial Reporting service line.

The new recruits will start their Baker Tilly careers on an intensive training course and will continue to study towards their professional qualifications including Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certificates throughout the next five years after which they will be fully qualified.
