Martin Tennant joins Channel 3 as a Partner from PA

Healthcare technology firm Channel 3 has appointed Martin Tennant as a Partner. Tennant arrives from PA Consulting, having previously been a Managing Consultant in the firm’s health and life sciences division.

Established in 2009, Channel 3 work exclusively in digital transformation, supporting health and care organisations to use technology to transform patient care and improve ways of working. The firm is currently engaged with over 50 organisations, supporting strategic health and local authority informatics programmes in excess of £500 million in value.

Tennant has spent a three-decade-long career supporting international healthcare and life sciences organisations, helping them deliver more effectively and efficiently through the novel use of technology. He joins Channel 3 from PA Consulting, where as Managing Consultant he led major national and regional digital health programmes including delivery of the first wave of local health and care records. This saw him work with clients across the NHS as well as with life sciences companies such as Novartis, Roche and AstraZeneca.

Previously he also spent time with a number of consultancies helping clients in the health sector, including ACT, Oracle, Compass Management Consulting and KPMG. During a five-year spell with the Big Four firm, he worked in KPMG’s health systems practice, helping deliver Electronic Patient Record systems and solutions for A&E, pharmacy, theatres, child health and mental health for clients across the UK, US, Hungary and Ireland.
