Palladium Digital sees client work lauded by industry group
London-based consulting firm Palladium Digital has been lauded for the quality of its client work during the UK Digital Experience Awards. Palladium was nominated for the second year running in two categories – Best Digital Change & Transformation and Best Use of Data Analytics & Insight – winning the latter for its work with private equity backed Pure Pet Food.
Pure Pet Food is a manufacturer of innovative dehydrated and freeze dried pet food. In contrast to regular pet food, the firm’s products provide pet owners with all of the convenience of traditional pet food, with the same nutritional qualities found in fresh ingredients. The firm’s different approach to the market has won it numerous awards, as well as backing from private equity firm Mercia Asset Management.
Having secured funding, the premium pet food business wanted to grow its market share, but was unsure how to go about it. That’s when consultancy Palladium Digital was tasked to provide commercial due diligence and apply recommendations across demand generation, customer experience, operations, technology and insight.
Founded in 2015, Palladium Digital is a consulting firm focused primarily on private equity clients. The firm works to boost growth and profitability in private equity backed businesses, assisting clients with digital strategy and embedding new ways of working into their operation.
The engagement saw Palladium help its client by drawing up an 18-month roadmap to help the business identify priorities and the resources needed, before setting up a number of pilot schemes to find new ways of reaching and converting new high value customers. This included reporting and data studio integration, which allowed Pure Pet Food to make data-based decisions on the most effective marketing channels and messaging for lucrative sales leads, and key pricing initiatives to increase average order value, and improved cost per action.
Thanks to the pilots Palladium delivered, the client developed a sophisticated personalisation and targets framework to deliver an improved return on investment from its marketing activity. It also adopted a customer nurture programme, which was designed to improve customer retention and loyalty, with early results suggesting the average number of days between transactions has fallen and subscribers numbers are climbing. Overall during the pilots, Pure Pet Food saw a 200% increase in new customer acquisition.
The positive results caught the eye of judges at the UK Digital Experience Awards, which honours organisations, teams and individuals providing exceptional customer experience through the use of digital technology. Nominated for the second year in a row, Palladium was handed the top prize for its services to Pure Pet Food. The firm was also handed a silver for its digital change and transformation work with Sovereign Capital Partners-backed Bristow & Sutor.
James Prebble, Director and Co-Founder of Palladium commented, “We're delighted to have be recognised. To win both a gold and a silver, in what were two very competitive categories is a fantastic achievement. All credit should go to our team and our clients who collectively have had the vision, ambition and appetite to deliver these projects. It's wonderful to see them recognised in this way.”
