Grey and Green expands with Eastmonds & Co merger
Grey and Green, the accountancy practice of Mackenzie Spencer, has expanded into London and the South East with the merger with accountancy firm Eastmonds & Co. The new practice will be rebranded to Eastmonds.
Eastmonds & Co is a Maidenhead-based accountancy firm that specialises in helping short term contractors with their accounting and tax and the IR35 regulations.
Founded in 2012, Grey and Green is the accountancy practice of corporate finance advisory Mackenzie Spencer. The practice that is headquartered in Sheffield works with business owners and management teams to help deliver personal and corporate goals, with a speciality, among others, in corporate & personal tax returns, bookkeeping, cash flow planning & management, and accounting.
In line with its ambition to provide a better service to its clients and expand its footprint, Grey and Green decided to acquire Eastmonds & Co. “We already have a number of London based clients and this expansion into the south east represents our commitment to providing a better service to both our existing clients and those of Eastmonds and Co,” explains Chris Sellars, Managing Director of both Mackenzie Spencer and Grey and Green. “Our purpose has always been to provide intelligent, proactive and candid advice to our clients and we are looking forward to now being able to offer this same service to businesses in Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.”
Following the merger, the practice will remain in Maidenhead and continue under the name of Eastmonds. Eastmonds managing partner Stephen Eastmond will work alongside Sellars and his business partner Mark Stanley. “Chris and Mark are driven, focused individuals and I am very excited about what Eastmonds will now be able to offer and I can only see us going from strength to strength,” comments Eastmond.
Stanley adds: “Stephen is a fantastic addition to the team; with in depth knowledge of taxation he will strengthen the offering to all our clients.”
