Delta Capita appoints Leeya Hendricks as Chief Marketing Officer
Delta Capita has appointed Leeya Hendricks as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Hendricks brings 14 years of digital marketing experience to the role, and has held top marketing positions at some of the world’s largest professional services firms – including Accenture, IBM and Oracle.
Founded in 2010, Delta Capita is a specialist firm to the financial services industry, supporting its clients with consulting, technology, fintech solutions and managed services. The global financial services consulting firm was recognised by the Financial Times as one of the top 1,000 fastest growing businesses in Europe in 2020.
Earlier in the year, the firm received a $50 million equity investment from Prytek Holdings, a Singapore headquartered technology investor. It has subsequently set its sights on a new phase of growth – and to help drum up new business to drive the company toward its goals, it has appointed a new Chief Marketing Officer.
Leeya Hendricks will now take responsibility for scaling channels and generating new opportunities to grow the business, providing leadership and strategic direction for Delta Capita across international markets, through impactful revenue generating online and offline demand generation initiatives. She will also help champion the firm’s mission to help financial services organisations reduce costs, by moving them away from their existing proprietary business operating models and toward a supply chain model.
Throughout her career, Hendricks’ key focus has been customer acquisition and enhancing customer experience in the mature markets and identifying gaps in the growth markets for business success. This has been the case across a number of senior executive positions she has held, including Marketing Leader of Systems Technology in IBM’s Middle East, Turkey & Africa region, and Marketing Head for Strategy, Products, Innovation for the same region with Accenture – both roles which were based in South Africa.
Hendricks moved into the UK market with a succession of roles at Oracle – a company she spent three years with, and was latterly Director Marketing of Customer UKI-EMEA/JAPAC for. She also held senior marketing roles with Gartner and Kurtosys Systems, before landing her latest position with Delta Capita in July 2020.
In a celebratory LinkedIn post, which has since garnered more than 1,000 likes and comments from well-wishers, Hendricks commented, “The opportunity to work at an organsiation that’s creating a game-changer for the financial services, consulting and technology industry is second to none. I’m delighted by the immense opportunity that lies ahead in these remarkable times. I always believed in starting with the end in mind and in one way it’s here but in another, there is a new journey ahead. There is certainly more to come and I can’t wait to get to work and above all, get to know and work closely with the DC team.”
