Oxera to host 'State aid in the energy sector' seminar
On 29 September 2015, consulting firm Oxera, in partnership with the UK State Aid Law Association, will organise its ‘State aid in the energy sector’ seminar. During the event, experts from Oxera, Slaughter and May and Herbert Smith Freehills will take part in a panel to discuss state aid rules in the energy sector.
State aid in the energy sector
During the evening seminar ‘State aid in the energy sector’, organised by economics consulting firm Oxera and the UK State Aid Law Association, a panel of three experts will discuss the application of the state aid rules in the energy sector. The experts will touch upon the European Commission’s recent decision on support for Hinkley Point C, as well as on other energy projects in the UK.
The event will be held on Tuesday 29 September at Oxera’s London office at place at 200 Aldersgate.

The panel consists of Oxera Partner James Kavanagh, who specialises in competition economics - with a focus on state aid and litigation, Jackie Holland, Special Adviser at Slaughter and May, and Lode Van Den Hende from Herbert Smith Freehills.
