Agria Pet Insurance hires Crossword for cybersecurity consultancy
Agria Pet Insurance has selected a new trusted cyber-security partner to help it minimise its security risks, ensure continued compliance with latest regulations relevant to the insurance market. Crossword Cybersecurity Consulting Division has penned a three-year deal to ensure Agria’s continued compliance with the latest regulations relevant to the sector.
Founded in Sweden over 125 years ago, Agria Pet Insurance is one of the world’s largest animal insurers. The company arrived in the UK in 2009, and is now a prominent feature of the UK pet insurance industry, providing insurance for cats and dogs. The firm offers a tailored choice of cover and optional benefits depending on its customers’ pets, lifestyle and budget.
Recently, Agria successfully completed a project evaluating its cyber-security controls against best practice and industry security standards. Now, as the firm continues to strengthen its mechanisms protecting important data from hackers, the firm has appointed Crossword Cybersecurity Consulting Division to give Agria access to regular testing of its cyber-security processes and technology, helping the company minimise its security risks.Commenting on the news, Stuart Jubb, Managing Director of Crossword Consulting, said, “We are delighted to form a long-term partnership with Agria Pet Insurance. The three-year contract will also see Crossword work to help Agria ensure continued compliance with latest regulations relevant to the sector, and make it more resilient in the face of the modern cyber-security threats it faces along with its customers and partners.
Crossword’s consulting team offer a full range of services from penetration testing, cyber maturity assessment, transformation and certification, to third party assurance and it’s vCISO offering. The deal comes after the new year saw Crossword pick up three new cyber-security consulting contracts.
