FRP promotes two restructuring partners

FRP Advisory has promoted two members of its restructuring advisory team to partner, amid a series of senior promotions across the UK. Nathan Jones and David Shambrook have been appointed, as demand for restructuring services from consulting firms booms thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nathan Jones and David Shambrook - RFP

With 53 partners and more than 360 staff operating from 18 offices across England and Scotland, the firm has taken its partner count to 53, with the promotions of restructuring experts Nathan Jones and David Shambrook. In their new roles they will continue to provide clients with restructuring support, helping to meet the on-going growth in demand for FRP’s business advisory services.

Jones joined FRP’s East Midlands practice in 2011 and has more than 20 years’ experience working with businesses facing financial challenges across sectors as diverse as healthcare, property, manufacturing and leisure. Prior to his time with FRP, Jones spent 11 years with RSM Tenon, where he was latterly an Associate Director. He also worked for PwC for three years, most recently as an Assistant Manager.

Shambrook joined FRP in 2013 and has extensive experience advising management teams and key stakeholders in sectors including financial markets, leisure and construction, with a specialism in real estate. He has previously spent eight years with Baker Tilly, where he became a Manager, and undertook a year-long secondment to Lloyds Banking Group.

Nathan and David’s promotions come as FRP also announces a series of director-level promotions across its network. Iain Townsend, a member of FRP’s restructuring advisory team in Teesside, has been promoted to Director, along with London-based forensic services team members Karen Mura and Steven Bain and restructuring advisory team members Simon Baggs, Stephen Beattie, Owen Davies and David Hinrichsen.
