Red Badger appoints gender balance experts to advisory board
Digital innovation and product consultancy Red Badger has appointed two world-leading experts in the field of gender balance and purpose-led business practice to join its advisory board. Avivah Wittenberg-Cox and Manny Amadi will work with the leadership team to build and expand on Red Badger’s strategic capabilities.
Red Badger is a digital transformation and technology consultancy focused on clients in the retail, media and financial services sectors. As the firm looks to continue building on its growth over its first nine years in business, Red Badger has appointed a duo of purpose-driven business experts to its advisory board. Avivah Wittenberg-Cox and Manny Amadi will now work with the leadership team to build and expand on Red Badger’s strategic capabilities, as well as work with the client teams to ensure businesses unlock the value of both gender-balanced teams and purpose-led business practice.
Avivah Wittenberg-Cox is a global recognised expert on gender balance. The CEO of 20-first, a global consulting firm working with companies interested in capturing the competitive advantage of gender, nationality, and generational balance, Wittenberg-Cox has made regular thought-leadership contributions to Harvard Business Review and Forbes, given several TEDx talks, and been recognised by ELLE Magazine as one of the Top 40 Women Leading Change.
Manny Amadi, meanwhile, has worked in an advisory capacity on a wide range of issues with leading multi-national companies, international agencies and NGOs, including UNICEF, Greenpeace, and WWF amongst many others. He advises various local, national and international NGOs in a voluntary capacity and has a particular commitment to working to advance the interests of young people around the world. Amadi was named ‘a responsible business guru’ by The Guardian, and is a trusted advisor to some of the world's foremost companies.
The pair join the existing board of advisors, consisting of Chris Brauer, Director of Innovation at Goldsmiths, University of London, Kevin Jenkins, former Managing Director of Visa UK and Ireland, Caroline Carruthers, data expert and author of Data-Driven Business Transformation, Paul Cutter, CIO of Flutter and Nicola Horlick, CEO of Money&Co.
