FTI Consulting UK promotes seven Senior Managing Directors
Global advisory firm FTI Consulting has announced the appointment of seven new Managing Directors in its London office. The news comes as part of 34 promotions across the firm’s global network.
FTI Consulting has been undergoing a raft of changes in recent months, as the firm looks to prepare for heightened demand both globally, and in its London office. Early last year, this saw 23 Partner appointments across its international network, including five in the UK capital. Once again at the turn of the year, the firm has used January as an opportunity to reward a number of staff across its network.
Stuart Amor, is a testifying valuation expert within FTI's Economic and Financial Consulting practice, focusing on energy matters. Amor has over 20 years of experience as an oil and gas equity research analyst and Head of Equity Research. He joined FTI’s London wing in 2016, and is now a Senior Managing Director.
Anton Chernousenko, joined FTI in 2013, following seven years with KPMG’s private equity transaction services wing. Now a member of FTI’s transaction services team, Chernousenko helps oversee financial due diligence services for mid and large capital private equity clients in Europe, on deal sizes from £100 million to £1 billion.
Mehmet Karakoç, has been with FTI since 2011, when he joined from being a Claims and Litigation Supervisor with ENKA. He has since specialised in forensic and litigation consulting in FTI’s London office, working on a large number of projects across the globe, including landmark projects such as the longest pipeline project in MENA and the tallest building in Europe.
Esther Mayr has also been promoted to Senior Managing Director at FTI’s London office. She specialises in the analysis of complex or illiquid assets and contracts with a focus in the energy and financial services sectors. Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2015, Mayr worked at KPMG and Grant Thornton, where she covered valuation, modeling and risk management topics across asset classes.
Jamilia Parry is becomes Senior Managing Director in FTI’s forensic and litigation consulting practice, and is based in London. She joined FTI in 2014, having been previously been Head of Customer and Compliance Risk with Nationwide Building Society earlier in her career, as well as Head of Change and Operational Risk at Deutsche Bank for over five years.
Federica Taccogna has also been appointed Senior Managing Director in the financial services team within the financial and litigation consulting segment at FTI Consulting. Having previously held senior risk and compliance positions in industry, including Head of Controls, Head of Operational Risk and Head of Compliance, she currently supports a broad range of financial services institutions and regulators globally advising on, investigating and remediating regulatory and financial crime.
Abhinav Trehan, joined FTI in 2013 as a founding member of the firm’s transaction services group, following six years with KPMG, where he was latterly a Manager. Since then, Trehan has been involved in numerous buy-outs advising both private equity and corporates in sectors such as manufacturing and industrials, TMT, business services, healthcare and retail.
