As the company looks to expand its international reach, UK origin firm OC&C Strategy Consultants has revealed to Consultancy.uk that it has forged a new strategic partnership with RedSeer. The leading independent consultancy provides OC&C with a key foothold in Asia, with offices across India, Dubai and Singapore.

Global strategy boutique OC&C Strategy Consultants has been rapidly expanding its operations across the world in recent times. Now holding 12 offices worldwide, the firm most recently grew its ranks with the news it had added 12 partners and roughly 70 consultants to its European footprint with the purchase of Long Term Partners. The Italian management consulting firm was founded by a group of former Bain & Company partners, and its purchase extended OC&C’s offering to new clients across the region.

Just two months later, OC&C has confirmed it has followed that up with another deal – this time strengthening its Asian prospects. In a Consultancy.uk exclusive, the strategy firm revealed that it has sealed a strategic partnership with RedSeer – an independent consultancy with five offices in Dubai, Singapore and India. It is in the latter nation where the two firms’ partnership will focus.

Commenting on the partnership, James George, OC&C’s International Managing Partner, said, “The coming together of OC&C and RedSeer is a real meeting of the minds. We are two leading consulting firms that share a common focus in consumer facing industries with deep expertise in retail and consumer packaged goods. OC&C works with some of the largest global brands and has deep expertise in international issues, whereas RedSeer boasts emerging and established Indian brands among its client roster – many of whom are planning on international expansion.”

Founded in 2009, over the last decade the Bangalore headquartered RedSeer has grown into one of largest regional consulting firms in Middle East and South Asia, delivering more than 1000 engagements for over 100 global clients in that time. Geared to solve the evolving challenges of the modern consumer ecosystem, RedSeer leverages an IP-driven approach to help clients understand the impact of digital on their business and create a transformation strategy around it.

Offering a vital foothold in one of the world’s fastest growing markets, the strategic partnership with RedSeer presents OC&C with the opportunity to unlock new opportunities in Asia, while RedSeer will be able to provide enhanced multinational solutions to clients. The arrangement will allow the firms to widen and deepen their services to both businesses based in India with international outlooks, and global brands intending to strengthen their positions in India.

Anil Kumar, Founder and CEO at RedSeer, remarked, “I’m thrilled to lead RedSeer into a new era with our strategic partnership with OC&C. Close collaboration between the two firms will provide us with invaluable access to some of the industry’s best thinking, from which we can develop a deeper bench of sector and topic expertise that enhances our ability to serve Indian clients on international mandates.”
