The Berkeley Partnership has added two new partners to its leadership team: Alasdair McGregor and Tom Parkin. With the latest addition, the London-based management consultancy’s partner team grows to seventeen, managing nearly 75 consultants and staff.

Founded in 1990, The Berkeley Partnership is a mid-sized advisory firm that offers a wide spectrum of management consultancy services to clients across a range of sectors, including Retail, Healthcare, Financial Services and Transport & Logistics. The Berkeley Partnership has a team of over 80 advisors and is based in the heart of London.

On the back of a growing footprint, The Berkeley Partnership has strengthened its partner team with two new experienced advisors: Alasdair McGregor and Tom Parkin. McGregor joined the firm in 2008 from Accenture, where he started his career in 1999 (at the time Andersen Consulting). He has worked across a number of industries – retail, consumer goods, travel and transport, banking and telecoms – and in companies ranging from major multinationals to start-ups, in both the private and public sectors. McGregor specialises in among others business strategy, operations, change management and the deployment of IT change initiatives.

Parkin joined The Berkeley Partnership in 2009, also from Accenture, and since then his clients have spanned the postal, oil, retail, and airline industries. He has led work to develop both business and IT strategies, as well as mobilising and leading change programmes through every stage of their lifecycle. Most recently Parkin managed a £125 million business turnaround programme, supported the CIO of a FTSE250 firm with the development of a 3-year IT strategy and established a management reporting centre of excellence for a FTSE100 firm.

Commenting on his new role at the privately owned firm, Parkin says, “Berkeley is a great place to be a management consultant and so it’s fantastic to be joining the partnership here. For 25 years, the values of this firm have stood the test of time and I look forward to helping carry them on into the future…. always working side by side with our clients on the biggest opportunities and challenges that they face.” McGregor adds: “It’s a real privilege to work with the great clients we have at Berkeley. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!”

Earlier this year The Berkeley Partnership was for the second year in a row named a Best Small Company to Work For by the Sunday Times.
