BearingPoint’s UK wing has appointed a new Partner in the form of Operations leader Emile Naus. The news comes as the firm executes a spate of promotions across Europe, while it bids to rapidly increase its revenue by 2022.

On the back of another year of growth, BearingPoint has admitted a number new Partners to its European operations. Chasing the ambition to bump its revenue from the current €739 million to the ‘magic barrier’ of €1 billion in the coming 2-3 years, the European-origin consultancy has added 17 Partners to its leadership.

Of those promotions, one takes place in the UK. Emile Naus, who leads the firm’s Operations team in Britain, has been appointed Partner five years after he first joined BearingPoint. With over 25 years of supply chain experience, Naus has worked for third party logistics, retail companies, and consulting businesses throughout his career. He has also designed, built, implemented and run operations in Europe and North America, varying from manual to highly automated.

The Operations team which Naus currently leads develops end-to-end supply chain strategies for clients, and helps them to deliver the benefits. This work spans multiple industry sectors including automotive, consumer goods, retail, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, life sciences, and transport and logistics.

Naus arrived at BearingPoint having previously held the role of Head of Logistics Strategy for Marks and Spencer, where he was responsible for a range of break-through initiatives. Prior to this, he had spent a year as Long Term Planning Manager in the retail sector, this time with Tesco, following a 10-year stay with LCP Consulting where he reached the rank of Principal. In 2017, LCP was purchased by BearingPoint, as it sought to strengthen its supply chain consulting offering.

Commenting on the news, Tony Farnfield, a Partner at BearingPoint, said, “It’s a real pleasure to welcome Emile as a new Partner to our Partner-led firm. Since joining BearingPoint, he has demonstrated a strong track record of client delivery across a range of industry sectors – by applying a combination of supply chain expertise, strong analytical skills, and business understanding.”

Naus himself added, “I am delighted to be promoted to Operations Partner for BearingPoint in the UK. We have a great team of experienced consultants, who help our clients improve their operations. I look forward to continue the development of our business and our team.”
