US consultancy AArete expands London presence
The influx into Britain of US consulting firms has continued apace in recent weeks, with groups keen to take advantage of the low pound. Now, Chicago-based consultancy AArete has confirmed that it will be expanding its pre-existing presence in London, a move which will allow it to tap into a wider selection of the local talent pool.
2019 has seen a number of American-origin consulting firms look to strengthen their UK presence. In spring, tech consultancy Slalom announced plans to open a Manchester office in which it will employ 200 staff by 2025. Just weeks later, Change 4 Growth confirmed it was opening a new London location, which will see the company look to supply organisational transformation solutions crafted over the last several years in the US to British clients.
Now, AArete, a Chicago-headquartered consulting firm specialising in data-informed performance improvement, has expanded its London office to better serve its UK clients. In response to thriving UK engagements and to better serve high demand in the European market, AArete is opening an office at 119 Marylebone Road, in the heart of Central London. The locale boasts great connectivity to the London underground, National Rail train stations as well as London airports, serving as a gateway for expansion into mainland Europe.
The office will be headed by Managing Director Maulik Bhagat who was previously based in AArete's Chicago office. The firm envisions that within 5 years, it will employ 70+ consultants and 10+ support staff. It will offer all three of AArete's service lines – data services, strategic cost reduction, and advisory services – which it provides to clients across industries including healthcare, retail, financial services and transportation.
AArete CEO Loren Trimble noted, "As our organisation grows, we know our London office will maintain the same culture and ethic that has served AArete's clients so well in the U.S. We will continue to deliver excellence, all the while serving our existing global clients on a more localised basis."
