Greg Barnes joins London team of Eames Consulting

Eames Consulting has welcomed a new Associate Director to its London team, as it looks to grow in 2019. Greg Barnes arrives with more than two decades of experience to his name, and will lead growth in the company across Europe.

Founded in 2002, Eames Consulting Group connects the financial and professional services sectors with the talent it needs to succeed in the future. With offices in London, Reading, Zurich, Singapore and Hong Kong, the firm’s services include retained and contingent search, contract and interim solutions.

As the firm looks to bolster its offering, with clients in the financial services sector keen to consult them on the best ways to insulate themselves from Brexit anxieties, Eames has hired a new Associate Director, in the shape of Greg Barnes. Taking up the role in the firm’s London office, Barnes will assume responsibility for the technology team, which focuses on contract recruitment. With his extensive knowledge and expertise surrounding the industry, he will be fundamental in developing the company’s technology capability across the UK.

Boasting over 20 years’ experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, Barnes has focused on the technology market for the entirety of his career. With experience spanning the UK, Europe and Asia, his expertise will bring a strong level of leadership in the firm's technology sector; a key area of growth both in London and in markets such as Germany and the Netherlands. Having focussed exclusively on contract recruitment across the UK and Europe – including Dach, Benelux and Scandinavia – Greg Barnes will also take charge of overseeing the team’s growth ambitions across Europe.

Prior to joining Eames, Barnes spent seven years as a Director with Rec4Tec, a human capital solutions company that helps businesses address the acute challenges that are being faced within the technology sector. Before this, he also held roles with Darwin Recruitment, Juniper Networks, Resolution Partners, and spent a six-year spell with ECI, where he was a Senior Consultant.
