Eden McCallum provides pro bono services to The Royal Foundation

Management consultancy Eden McCallum has signed a new pro bono partnership with the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The partnership will see the firm provide the charity with free consulting services regarding strategy, organisation and operational improvement schemes.

The consulting industry has a long tradition of involving itself in pro bono projects, helping out non-profits free of charge with services which might ordinarily cost thousands of pounds. This is partially because it pays for large companies to create corporate social responsibility policies in an age of constant public scrutiny, while employees often enjoy the projects as a change of pace and subject, while the firm can take a degree of credit for helping to improve the lives of others.

This has seen consulting firm Eden McCallum announce a new partnership with The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Established in September 2009 to enable Prince William and Prince Harry to take forward their charitable ambitions, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle later joined as patrons of the foundation, following their marriages to the two princes.

The Royal Foundation develops programmes and charitable projects based on the charitable interests of Their Royal Highnesses by working with organisations which are already making a proven impact in their respective fields. The organisation also provides additional investment, mentoring and support for these programmes, and lends its own profile and leverage to enhance the effect of their good work.

As it becomes the fourth partner in Eden McCallum’s NGO partnership programme (alongside Impetus-PEF, Virgin Unite, and Save the Children), The Royal Foundation will benefit from the support of consultants via the firm’s pro bono policy. This includes strategy, organisation and operational improvement consulting projects.
