Ecorys opens new office in Croatia's capital Zagreb
Ecorys has opened a new office in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. The official opening of the new office will take place on December the 14th. Maja Hranilovic, who has been liaison officer for Ecorys in Croatia for several years, has been appointed as Managing Director of Ecorys Zagreb.

Over the past decade Ecorys has completed tens of projects in Croatia. It provided its services through international offices and through the network its contact Maja Hranilovic. The majority of projects were for the Croatian government, several ministries and a number of regional Croatian areas. The advisory firm was also supporting the country when it joined the Eurpean Union.
International expansion
Ecorys originally is a Dutch advisory firm, founded in 1929 in Rotterdam. In the nineties Ecorys started its international expansion and offices were opened in Brussels and Moscow. Meanwhile the advisory firm has over 10 offices abroad though the whole of Europe. Ecorys also has grown in the past years by merges an acquisitions, including the merging with Kolpron Consultants (1999), the merging with the British ECOTEC Research and Consulting (2000), the acquisition of development aid advisory firm Harewelle (2012) and the partnership with Oxford Intelligence (2012).
