IGRM signs services partnership with BCR Associates

BCR Associates has signed a partnership with International Golf & Resort Management (IGRM). Under the agreement clients of IGRM will be able to use the services of BCR, focused on cost saving, procurement excellence and cost management.

International Golf & Resort Management (IGRM) is a network that provides a wide range of services to the international golf and resort industry, including development, management and operational support. IGRM is headquartered in the United Kingdom and has further regional offices in Brazil, Cuba, Russia and Mexico.


IGRM already works with a number of external partners, such as Delta Squared, Appella Consulting and Freeman Group, and to bolster its portfolio in the field of procurement and operational excellence it has recently added BCR Associates to its network. The move comes after IGRM CEO Michael Longshaw surveyed the company’s clients and identified that cost savings and cost management continue to come out as the number one service required as it can have the greatest impact on their business; positive if the process is managed well and negative if not.

“As a firm we are always trying to optimise the service that we provide our clients and, where possible, innovate.  Throughout last year the overwhelming feedback I received from clients was that the area of procurement for essential services like energy, telecoms, business supplies and insurances was a minefield and most knew this was an area where they were leaking substantial amounts of money and needed help in a way that would not impact adversely on their own customer base”, comments Longshaw. Asked for the reason behind choosing BCR Associates, out of dozens of specialists in the consulting industry, he cites a number of reasons: “their independence; client-centric values similar to my own; track record; cost model; and above all else their research.” Longshaw adds that BCR’s way of working – the firm’s business model promises client they can keep 100% of any savings identified – represents a “big win”, both for himself and, more importantly, for his clients.
