Beckford brings her extensive experience in planning and implementing programme and project change initiatives and risk management to her new role as Associate Director at LOC. At the firm, she will be charged with augmenting LOC’s focus on the healthcare consultancy sector and strengthening its public sector offering. “Carol’s extensive experience in the healthcare sector will be invaluable to the executive team, helping them to show health managers how to reorganise their systems in order to be more effective so that they can optimise their strategy according to best practice and within budget,” explains Peter Osborne, Managing Director of LOC Consulting.

Commenting on her appointment, Beckford says: “I’m delighted to be joining LOC. I’ve had a close affiliation with the company for many years now, and I have always admired its focus, organisation, and management. LOC already has a good reputation within the health sector, and I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to build upon this. By using my talent of supporting senior clients, we will work alongside clients’ staff to enable the transformation they want to see within their organisation, be that an NHS Trust, national health sector organisation, or a central government department.”

In September last year LOC Consulting hired Tim Kempster as Director, who currently serves as Project Director of the 100,000 Genome Project.
