Amey strikes 78 million IT services deal with CSC

Engineering consulting firm Amey has signed a 7 year agreement valued at $78 million with global IT Services company CSC, who will deliver next-generation IT services to the consultancy. The deal has been struck as part of Amey’s growth agenda.

Amey is an in 1921 founded UK-based engineering consulting firm and public service provider that offers a range of services including utilities, highways, waste management, rail, justice solutions, social housing and facilities management. The firm employees over 21,000 people and is a subsidiary of international infrastructure and services operator Ferrovial.

To support its business growth, Amey has hired global IT services company CSC to provide it with a "high-quality next-generation applications platform", with the aim of boosting the firm's flexibility and service capabilities. As part of the deal, CSC will deliver application development and management services which includes a large portion of Amey’s portfolio including SAP* and large estate customised applications across all of the firm’s business units in the UK. The deal will last seven years and is valued at $78 million.
