EY and Deloitte named best big company to work for

Accounting and consulting giants EY and Deloitte have been named a 'Best Company to Work For' by the Sunday Times. The ranking recognises firms with the happiest and most motivated workforces.

The Sunday Times ‘Best Companies To Work For’ is an annual ranking that celebrates the best small, mid-size and big workplaces in the UK. The ranking consists of four lists, the ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ (staff of 250-3,500), ‘25 Best Big Companies to Work For’ (staff of 3,500+), ‘100 Best Small Companies to Work For’ (SMEs with staff of 50-250), and ‘100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work For’. The lists are based on employee opinions on subjects of wellbeing in the workplace, giving back to society, strong leadership and teaming, opportunities for personal growth, and fair pay and benefits.

25 Best Big Companies To Work For
Among the ‘25 Best Big Companies To Work For’, a list which is led by TGI Friday’s (#1), Sytner Group (#2) and American Express (#3), two professional services firms are found. Big four firms EY (#14) and Deloitte (#22). In addition to the recognition, EY also received a 1-Star Accreditation standard – acknowledging excellence in the workplace – and two awards for its student induction programme: ‘Best Improver’ and ‘Learning and Development’.
