Mercer executive Jens Uwe Kraemer joins Kienbaum
Global HR service firms Kienbaum has named a new head for it operations in Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS. Jens Uwe Kraemer joins from Mercer, where he was responsible for the European Rewards Practice as well as the consulting business in Eastern Europe.
With over 750 professionals working across 40 offices in 20+ countries, Kienbaum is one of the larger players in the global HR and recruitment market. The consultancy focuses on among others Executive Search, Human Resource Management en Management Consulting.
To boost its presence in Eastern Europe, the business advisory has created a new executive position, and poached Jens Uwe Kraemer from rival Mercer to serve as the new Director for Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS. Uwe Kraemer will, from the bases in Vienna, Moscow, and Frankfurt, be tasked with further expanding the firm’s footprint, with a focus on HR and compensation consulting. At Mercer, the 48-year-old worked as Practice Leader Rewards Europe and HR Consulting Leader Eastern Europe, and prior to that had management spells at hkp/// group (a Frankfurt-based consulting firm), Deutsche Telekom and ERP-giant SAP.
