Accenture to add 250 new professionals in Ireland

Technology consulting firm Accenture has revealed plans to recruit 250 new staff in Ireland, to be based in the country’s capital. The new jobs will be a mix of graduate and professional roles in the areas of technology and digital. According to the Irish Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, the expansion of Accenture will provide a large boost to the Irish technology sector.

Management consulting and technology services firm Accenture recently announced its plan to hire 250 new employees in Ireland by the end of August 2015, to be based in Dublin. The jobs, which will consist of a variety of industry and digital roles, will be open to graduates (50) as well as to candidates with ‘a range of experience’ (200). With the addition of these additions, Accenture’s workforce in Ireland will be 1,850 employees.

To fill the openings, the consulting firm is looking for professionals who offer technology, digital and analytical skills, specifically across key areas such as SAP, Oracle and cloud computing, and analytics. In addition, the firm will be recruiting candidates with industry expertise, including in financial services, communications, media & entertainment, and food & agriculture.

The announcement is the second announced expansion of Accenture in a short time-span. Just recently, the consulting firm announced to recruit 1,600 new professionals across the UK.
