Capgemini appoints Rosemary Stark as Global Sales Officer

Capgemini has appointed Rosemary Stark, who has been with the UK arm of the group for more than 20 years, to the role of Global Sales Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee. The top-level position sees her report directly to Paul Hermelin, the Chairman and CEO of Capgemini.

Capgemini has promoted long-term employee Rosemary Stark to the role of Global Sales Officer. The appointment also sees her become part of the Group Executive Committee – a 21 member collective tasked with the vision and direction of the firm across its global operation. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, which includes key functions, such as developing senior client relationships and ensuring the delivery of complex programmes.

Stark succeeds Srikanth Iyengar, who has left the group after one year in the role, to join Conduent Europe as the IT services firm’s European Group Chief Executive. She will report directly to the CEO of the Capgemini Group, who heads the Group Executive Committee. The appointment is effective immediately.

Rosemary Stark joined Capgemini as an Associate Director in its Capgemini Outsourcing business in 1995. Since then she has held various leadership roles at Capgemini across a 22 year career with its UK wing, including its Banking business and its Application Management and Financial Service businesses in Scotland. Most recently she led Capgemini’s Financial Services business in the UK and Ireland from 2015 and was a Vice President in the UK. Stark began her career in public services, where she was an economic analyst, having previously attended the University of Glasgow.
