Accenture bolsters ServiceNow arm with Focus Group Europe acquisition

Accenture has acquired Focus Group Europe for an undisclosed sum. The London-based ServiceNow provider adds around 70 professionals and a number of high-level certificates and certifications in the ServiceNow space to the firm. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Focus Group Europe is a UK-based ServiceNow provider, founded in 2009 and headquartered in London. The company leverages a three-tier strategy to service client needs, Advise, Transform and Optimise. The company has more than 70 professionals working for it, and around 75 ServiceNow certifications. Since its founding, ServiceNow has grown to become of the UK’s largest pure-play ServiceNow companies, and has received several Sales Partner and Gold Service designations.

Accenture is continuing its acquisitions drive in the ServiceNow space, with the addition of Focus Group Europe to its other recent acquisitions – including Nashco Consulting and Cloud Sherpas. David Schneider, Chief Revenue Officer of ServiceNow remarks about the acquisitions, “Accenture’s continued investment in ServiceNow is proof of the importance of ServiceNow’s role in the cloud strategy of the largest enterprises.”

Through the acquisition, Accenture aims to solidify its position in the ServiceNow partner ecosystem, by further bolstering its capabilities, technological prowess and expertise in ServiceNow cloud strategy, implementation, migration, integration and management. “Using our proven Cloud First approach, Accenture is able to shepherd clients on their individual and unique journey to cloud ambitions and ultimately getting the most out of their cloud investments,” remarks Jack Sepple, Senior Managing Director of Accenture Cloud and Accenture Operations Group Technology Officer.
