Kasia Meerman joins omni-channel agency Oxyma!
Oxyma Consulting, part of Oxyma Group, a leading omni-channel agency in the Netherlands, has bolstered its team with Kasia Meerman, who joins from online media agency Yonego.
Kasia Meerman (41) has over fifteen years of experience in the field of sales & marketing and digital transformation, spending most of her career in North America and the Netherlands. After completing her studies in Canada, she started her career as a dubbing coordinator for a television animation production company, after which Meerman moved to Holland to work for Weton Wesgram, a music export company. Roughly four years down the line, in 2004, she transferred to TellUs, a Dutch online lead generation company that at the time was one of the frontrunners in the European landscape, with a portfolio of more than 850 online lead generation products dispersed over 65 countries and around 50.000 domains under management.
Meerman spent nine years at the firm, during which she held a variety of positions with growing seniority, latterly serving as Sales Director and member of the firm’s management team. Against the backdrop of the growing shift from offline to online – the value of Europe’s B2B e-commerce market today stands at over €500 billion – she five years ago decided to step into the agency world and hasn’t looked back since. After a short spell with an advertising agency Meerman then moved to Yonego, where she served as a consultant in digital marketing, providing a range of digital strategy and marketing services to dozens of clients in the B2B, B2C and hybrid space.
Per January, Meerman embarked on a new adventure and joined Oxyma’s consulting unit, which is part of Oxyma Group, with over 300 creative and technology professionals one of the larger specialised omni-channel agencies in the Netherlands. In her role as Consultant, she will assist companies with developing and executing their e-business and omni-channel plans, from strategy through execution. Meerman, who is an avid advocate of and speaker on digital matters, has also been tasked with supporting the firm’s customer journey and digital transformation propositions.
Commenting on her new role, Meerman says, "Oxyma is exactly where I want to be at the forefront of omni-channel strategy, deep diving into CRM behavioral and predictive marketing, together with a team of experienced professionals working for brands pioneering in their respective industries."
Among the clients Oxyma serves are large brands such as Adobe, BMW, Mentos, KLM, Unilever, Auping and Vodafone, as well are large local players, including the likes of Nuon (a Dutch Energy provider), NS (the country’s railway service provider), Ziggo and Telfort (two local telecom companies) and Feyenoord (one of the Netherlands’ largest football clubs).
