A.T. Kearney partner Laura Gurski joins consulting arm of Accenture
Accenture has hired Laura Gurski, formerly the Global Practice Lead of A.T. Kearney's Services & Industry practices, as a Senior Managing Director in the firm's Customer and Channels Consulting Practice.
Prior to joining Accenture, Laura Gurski worked for more than twenty years at A.T. Kearney. She joined the management consulting firm in 1995, growing the ranks to Partner level. In 2010 she was appointed Global and Americas Leader role for the firm's Consumer Industries & Retail practice, after which, in 2014, she took on the role of Global Practice Lead for the firm’s Services & Industry practice, whereby she headed a team of more 3,500 consultants.
Prior to A.T. Kearney, she held senior marketing positions in brand management, merchant and product marketing for Sears and later Morgan Stanley’s Discover Card, and in sales promotion and advertising for a US-based food retailer.
Gurski holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. She is a Board Member at Economic Empowerment.
Gurski joins Accenture as Senior Managing Director of the firm’s Customer and Channels Consulting Practice for Products. The role will see her take responsibility for the development and delivery of marketing, customer service, commerce and sales transformation services. Gurski is based in the firm's Chicago office.
