Accenture hires Madeleine Chenette as Montreal Office Managing Director

Accenture has hired Madeleine Chenette, who joins the firm's Montreal office as Products Industry Lead and Office Managing Director. She is tasked with further building the firm's presence in the region, among clients and the local community.

Prior to joining Accenture, Madeleine Chenette worked, since 2012, at KPMG Canada as Partner and Head of the firm's National Strategy Advisory Services. She previously worked as the Chair of the Board of SECOR Group, following the role of Quebec Managing Partner and Global Lead of the group’s intellectual capital enhancement and development.

Chenette holds a Master's degree in Management from HEC Montréal and is a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She has been a Board member of tour operator Transat A.T.

Accenture has hired Chenette as the Montreal office Managing Director. She brings more than 22 years of consultancy experience to the role, in which she takes the lead of the firm’s Quebec retail, consumer goods and transport industry practices, and responsibility for drumming up business and the firm’s relationship with the community across the region.

Last year both McKinsey & Company and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) expanded their footprint in Canada. BCG opened an office in Canada to support the growth ambition of BCG Platinion, the firm’s wholly owned Technology Strategy Operation subsidiary, while McKinsey established an Experience Studio in Toronto.
