Bourton Group has added three new consultants to its consulting team in the UK. Arran McDonald, Mike Horton and Murugadoss Panneerselvam bring considerable Lean Six Sigma and leadership and operations expertise to the firm, enlarging and strengthening its core offering to the UK construction and infrastructure sector.

Prior to joining Bourton Group, Arran McDonald worked at Mott MacDonald as a Lean Consultancy Technical Manager, leading the firm’s UK Lean activity. Previously, from 2007 until 2011, McDonald worked at the Building Research Establishment as a Bre CLIP Manager and Master Engineer. McDonald holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Industrial Management from Nottingham Trent University.

Before his appointment at the Bourton Group, Mike Horton worked at Senior Aerospace BWT as a Lean Facilitator for just over a year. Prior to that, he worked at Air Products for more than 12 years, supporting various internal operations and processes, through the delivery of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt transformations. Horton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Studies from Falmouth University.

Murugadoss Panneerselvam joined Bosch in 2008, where he latterly was the Head of Project Management at the company, providing operational management to two of the company’s UK business units, for which he also promoted and supported leadership development. Previously  he held various roles of increasing seniority at the company. Panneerselvam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology (India), a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Plymouth and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.

The addition of consulting specialists McDonald, Horton and Panneerselvam boosts the Bourton's consulting team with a range of capabilities in Lean Six Sigma and leadership training, among others. The additions will support the firm's growing footprint in the Construction and Infrastructure sector, which focuses on delivering performance improvements in three key metrics: cost, quality and delivery.

Managing Partner, Mike Notman says, “As a business that’s been around for more than 50 years and prides itself on having great client relationships, we are very selective about who we invite to join Bourton! Mike, Doss and Arran are exciting new additions to the team who I’m sure will help us to continue to deliver great support to our client’s, and who will also enable us to continue to grow our business."
