BDO launches Consulting unit in Austria with Strametz & Partner deal

BDO has admitted Austria based Strametz & Partner into its wider network. As part of the integration, the entity will operate as BDO Consulting in Austria. The deal strengthens BDO’s HR consulting proposition in the country, while Strametz & Partner’s domestic and international reach is broadened under a new banner.

Strametz & Partner was founded in 1978, and operates out of Vienna, Austria. The firm, which has a staff of ten, provides a range of consulting services in the areas of executive recruitment, diagnostics and training for its clients; the company predominantly supports international companies, operating in Austria, with HR services.

The recently announced deal sees Strametz & Partner join the BDO network, and will operate under the title BDO Consulting. Through the deal, BDO is able to further extending the firm’s advisory capabilities in Austria, supporting its strategy of extending and preserving its market position within the country. Strametz & Partner benefits from access to the wider BDO network, both domestically and internationally. The addition of Strametz & Partner sees Sören Buschmann and Hannes Gsellmann become partners at BDO.
