Accenture helps UniCredit with Finance BPO transformation

UniCredit has hired Accenture to support a large finance BPO transformation program. In the upcoming months the advisory firm will help the Italian bank transforming the complete invoice management operations, including all accounts-receivable, accounts-payable and asset-management activities.

UniCredit is one of Europe's leading commercial banks with activities in 22 European countries. More than 158,000 employees  are actively working at this bank, divided over more than 9,360 offices.

Drive for more efficiency

The finance transformation is part of the bank's broader "Newton" program announced in November 2011, aimed at transforming the bank's operations to become 'world-class'. Accenture will provide management consulting (finance and accounting; change management,  IT consulting (technology) and Outsourcing (BPO) services.
