Simon Kucher adds four partners to European team
Global consulting firm Simon-Kucher & Partners has expanded its European partner team with four new partners. Bjoern Dahmen and Nina Scharwenka boost the partner team in home-base Germany, while Marie Giraud and Andreas Jonason strengthen the French and Danish management teams. All four partners have been promoted from internal ranks.
Simon-Kucher & Partners was founded in 1985 and has grown to a team of 720 professionals in 28 offices worldwide. Since its establishment in 1985 the consultancy specialises exclusively on strategy and sales & marketing services, a feat which in its view differentiates it from the other major players in the strategy & operations landscape. The fast growing firm – Simon-Kucher & Partners has for several years in a row booked record-breaking revenues – was recently named one of the top 25 most prestigious management consulting firms in Europe.
In line with its growth ambition, the consultancy last month appointed four new partners in Europe:
Bjoern Dahmen (33) has more than eight years of experience in the consulting industry on strategy, pricing, sales and marketing topics. Based out of Simon-Kucher’s office in Cologne, he has worked for numerous national and international clients in the consumer goods and ingredients industry in various European markets.
Nina Scharwenka (34) is located in Munich and has over eight years of experience in the retail and consumer goods industry. She works for leading global players as well as mid-sized companies in a broad range of marketing and strategy topics, such as strategic brand positioning, consumer pricing and trade terms optimisation.
Marie Giraud (34) serves major players in the energy, chemicals and industrial sectors. Based in the consultancy’s Paris office, her focus lies on sales excellence, innovation value marketing, revenue management and pricing as well as top-line growth strategies for companies with high fixed costs.
Andreas Jonason (39) leads the company’s oil and gas practice out of Simon-Kucher’s office in Copenhagen. He has over 15 years of marketing, sales and pricing experience, both from the industry and the consulting side. He specializes in industrial projects in the Nordics and in the downstream oil and gas sector.
“Demand for our consulting services is increasing worldwide,” states Georg Tacke, CEO of the firm. “This is also true for more mature European markets such as Germany.”
Last year December Simon-Kucher, which recently opened a new office in Barcelona, appointed six new partners to its team, of which five were based in Europe.
