Capgemini awarded contract by The Pensions Regulator
Capgemini UK has been awarded a contract by The Pensions Regulator to implement and support an integrated case and document management solution that meets the organisation’s need for automatic enrolment of UK work-based pensions.
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is UK’s non-departmental public body that holds the regulator position of work-based pension schemes in the nation. The organisation was created in 2004, under the Pensions Act 2004, and replaced the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority (OPRA) in 2005.
TRP recently signed a seven-year contract with a value of £2.4 million with Capgemini UK, under which the consulting firm will deliver a solution that will help TPR better automate the capture, process and output of pension cases, a solution that subsequently will be rolled-out to other areas of the business to meet the needs of regulator. Commenting on the contract, Chris Gravestock, Account Director for TPR at Capgemini, says: “We are very pleased to be working with The Pensions Regulator on this important project, and are delighted that we have been able to deploy a solution that enabled us to demonstrate how we could mobilise and begin to deliver value quickly using Agile techniques.”
