Lead Data Consultant

Purpose of Role: 

To empower businesses to leverage the full potential of their data by providing expert data strategy advice and business analysis. This includes establishing strong data governance foundations, delivering high-quality data insights and business intelligence, and contributing SME knowledge to enhance Leading Resolutions’ data-related products, services, and marketing campaigns. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives and formulating data strategies that align with their goals. This involves assessing current data capabilities and identifying areas for enhancement. 
• Designing and implementing efficient processes for data gathering, storage, and management. Ensuring data governance, accuracy, completeness, and security is paramount. 
• Analysing complex datasets to extract actionable insights. This includes identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform business decisions. 
• Ability to provide guidance and advice to complex data driven projects through Proof of Concepts or the during a full Project Management lifecycle 
• Developing dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools to present insights clearly to stakeholders.  
• Identifying inefficiencies in business operations through data analysis and recommending data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. 
• Establishing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with relevant regulations. This includes defining data ownership, accountability, and usage policies. 
• Providing training sessions and ongoing support to clients to enhance their data literacy and enable them to effectively utilize data tools and insights in their daily operations. 
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments in data analytics, tools, and best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions. 
• Collaborating with technical teams to design, develop, and implement data solutions. 
• Representing Leading Resolutions at industry forums and conferences, particularly those focused on data and analytics. 

Skills and Competencies: 

• Proficiency in analysing complex datasets to extract actionable insights and presenting them through clear visualisations, using tools and software to interpret data effectively.  
• Ability to align Data projects with business objectives and industry best practices.    
• Ability to provide Data SME advice to project plans, setting realistic timelines 
• Strong organisational skills are essential to balance multiple assignments and priorities 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and articulate project objectives clearly. Building strong relationships  
• Effective leadership to guide cross-functional teams, motivate members, and promote a collaborative environment. This includes delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring team alignment with assignment goals.  
• Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks, data governance, data protection and relevant laws     
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to data challenges.  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred. 
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in data management and analysis, with a proven track record of managing complex data-driven projects. 
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Business Analysis and Microsoft or Google data analytics accreditation.  

Salary Dependent Upon Experience: 

£65,000 – £80,000
