Get The Future You Want

Welcome to the heart of innovation — the Analytics and AI team. This is where you step into a world of collaboration, working side by side with our clients to elevate their data usage and transform them into truly data-driven enterprises. Together, we will draw upon our expertise across a variety of fields such as Data and AI Strategy, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, GenAI, Customer Insight, Digital Analytics, Growth/Commercial Analytics, IoT, and Intelligent Automation to solve complex industry problems. Join us in shaping the future of technology and making a real impact in the world of data-driven solutions.

An overview of the role:

As a Commercial Analytics Consultant, you will become a key Member of our Digital & Customer Analytics team. You will have the opportunity to work across sectors and industries, but your specific capability expertise will be in Commercial Analytics. You will work with market-leading clients, applying cutting-edge technologies to solve impactful commercial growth problems.

You will collaborate with industry leaders to assess marketing and promotions impact, and optimize revenue/margins/cost, using data analytics and sophisticated modelling techniques. Your expertise in promotions analytics involves using data analysis and statistical modelling to assess the effectiveness of promotional activities, advertising campaigns, or sales strategies on a company’s overall objectives. You can systematically analyse pricing data, incorporating industry standards and competitive insights. You will put your consulting skills in practice by planning, managing, and organising projects, delivering presentations to clients and working to tight deadlines.

The work:

No matter the project or customer, your work will have a meaningful impact on society, businesses and lives. It’s really rewarding. And it’s also really varied. You’ll potentially work on a huge variety of projects (some larger than others), so you could gain lots of experience in a short amount of time.

Why this role?

As a Senior Consultant in the business you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team.

Leading data-driven initiatives and transformations, you'll need to be both adept at analysing historical data and competitive insights, whilst also being able to perform and optimise modelling techniques. Your analytical prowess will cover a spectrum of tasks, including sales, margin, ROI, and customer impact analysis. For promotions, you'll specifically focus on the analysis and measurement of product/SKU and event promotions, encompassing areas such as sales cannibalization and customer impact.

But your role doesn't end with data analysis alone. You will play a pivotal consulting role: for example, facilitating workshops, managing workstreams, delivering impactful communications to our clients, providing recommendations on their future, providing training and support on new capabilities. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, you'll collaborate closely to understand their needs, address challenges, and achieve successful outcomes.

Nurturing your commitment to continuous learning, you'll stay at the forefront of industry trends, perpetually exploring advancements in pricing and promotions analytics. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping leadership initiatives and the creation of innovative analytics and ML products and services. Together, we'll address sustainability challenges, combat climate change, and champion active inclusion.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

•    Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
•    Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
•    Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We’d love to meet someone with:

•    Proven experience in analysis & measurement of product/SKU and event promotions performance.
•    Experience in Marketing Campaign measurement and optimisation (e.g Marketing Mix Modelling, Media & Communications analysis)
•    Proficient in use of statistical modelling (e.g. Regression), price elasticity modelling and advanced ML.
•    Deep understanding of sales, promotions, customer insights, margins / ROI optimisation, product/SKU and ROI data.
•    Knowledge of marketing and promotional planning cycles and pricing strategies in specific industries.
•    Strong communication skills including Data Storytelling & Visualisation.
•    Degree in Mathematics, STEM, or a supply chain-related field.
•    Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
•    Experience of proposition building and delivery.
•    Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
