An overview of the role:

As an Automotive Consultant specialising in Sales Transformation, you will use your experience to conceptualise, guide and govern change within our client business.

 

With a deep understanding of both strategic and operational topics, you will be adept at supporting business change. By methodically working with our clients, suppliers, and the broader value chain you will assess and understand capabilities and requirements and design and deliver new business processes, customer experiences and to help realise the benefits.

 

This collaborative role will work seamlessly with counterparts from across the Capgemini network, as required by the engagement. As a champion for success, the team will look to you for both reliable delivery and support in building future business

The Automotive industry is on the cusp of the most significant change period in decades. As an Automotive Sales Transformation Consultant, you’ll help set the tone for the evolving car buying experience and help our clients re-invent and sustainably deliver their future role in the value chain.

 

 

Key expectations from the Consultant role include:

 

· Provide insightful support to a range of automotive engagements and specific insight to sales transformation.

· Helping our clients transform their businesses with high quality delivery, content development and strategic support.

· Constructing and delivering workshops, thought-leadership content, and presentations.

· Deliver client transformation projects relating to sales transformation working with other Capgemini teams in Marketing, Logistics, Data and Analytics and Technology.

· Support the advancement of our wider team capability, acting as a coach.

 

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories: 

 

· Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.

· Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.

· Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

We'd love to meet with someone with:

· Hands-on experience gained within an OEM/NSC, Dealer Group or consultancy helping shape and implement sales models in the UK and perhaps across Europe.

· A balance of experience in technology, data, business transformation and change management.

· A strategic view on the evolving challenge and opportunities to do with Sales Transformation such as the transition to direct-to-consumer models and eCommerce.

· Their finger on the pulse of the market; megatrends, new entrants and next technologies.

· User-centric thinking and ideation to embrace problem-solving and creatively apply solutions.

· A can-do, positive attitude, at ease with working out of their comfort zone.

· Ability to be successful in a matrix organisation.
