Financial and Operational Programme Management – Manager level – London

Our dedicated EMEA Operations team provides data-driven assistance to support business objectives and improve financial and operational performance within a fast-paced, highly challenging environment.

Due to considerable growth in the Financial Institutions Advisory Services (FIAS), the Operations team are now looking for a Financial and Operational Programme Manager to be based in London . The primary focus of the role is to support the Operations Lead by continuing to develop and deliver processes and analysis to ensure robust reporting and information needs across the division. The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to navigate ambiguity and develop concepts into solutions independently, deal with big sets of data, show resilience when solving complex matters and communicate effectively to a senior audience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and service offerings including additional channels to market and expansion opportunities.
  • Reviewing financial models to measure success and analyse go to market opportunities and synergies.
  • Supporting European operations with internal tracking and reporting on the expansion of our Managing Director population and recruitment pipeline updates.
  • Originating and developing Managing Director business plans and growth proposals including designing compensation models and reward plans.
  • Working closely and in coordination with colleagues in Legal, Finance, Tax.
  • Project managing expansion plans across geographies, legal entities and offices.
  • Acting as a pivotal point for new MDs during critical phases in their offer process, onboarding and integration to A&M including the production of offer letters and contracts.
  • Continuously developing, improving, and in some cases, innovating internal processes.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience, ideally gained within a financial and analytical environment; experience of working within a Transactions Advisory, M&A or Deals, Valuations or Business Modelling or Strategy Consulting is ideal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent excel and financial modelling skills essential with proven analytical skills.
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity and explore opportunities autonomously to achieve targets and deliverables.
  • Intellectually curious, pro-active, and comfortable challenging the status quo to ask thoughtful questions and make proposals to solve problems.
  • Ability to build and leverage strong relationships across the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to senior management.
  • Fluent English, other European languages are advantageous.
