To deliver long term, sustainable value for Capgemini Invent UK clients, enabling them with fresh perspectives and digital solutions so that they can play a transformative role in addressing planetary, people and systems challenges through operationalising sustainability
The work:

Why this role?
The role will include responsibility for client facing consultation, drafting winning sustainability solutions proposals and project delivery in collaboration with UK sector and business market units colleagues for industry specific client opportunities, that embed purpose and operationalise sustainability, including activities such as:
• Supporting the VP of Sustainable Solutions on developing Capgemini Invent’s response and strategic approach to nature and biodiversity
• Create internal client briefing packs with competitor analysis, market position and critic on existing sustainability progress against nature related and biodiversity strategy, so that the team can position consultation accordingly
• Support the team in engaging in external industry initiatives that help the sector to evolve approaches to biodiversity and nature
• Collaborating with stakeholders across group teams to drive the biodiversity agenda and ensuring their inputs are integrated into resulting methodologies
• Assisting organisations to develop nature strategies and apply frameworks like the TNFD to their own operations
• Assessing biodiversity and natural capital risks, impacts and opportunities
• Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations in response to tenders for new and existing clients
• Engage with and bring to projects Capgemini experts to offer high quality customer service
• Engage clients for cross sector collaborations with other organisations to meet the UNSDGs
• External and internal events and speaking engagements

Why you?
• Consulting experience preferred but not essential, expereince relating to working with government, industry, non-profit or private sector clients on topics relating to biodiversity, ecology, and natural capital
• A master’s degree or equivalent in environmental science, ecology, environment, science with a passion to apply your expertise to real world client problems
• Deep applied knowledge in at least one of natural capital valuation, biodiversity markets, blue carbon, and/or biodiversity offsetting
• Working knowledge of the TNFD and other frameworks such as Science Based Targets for Nature
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills, and be able to effectively draw insights from research and data to support inform solutions for clients
• Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse team environment
• An ability to and build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders
