Why this role?

Whilst the Analytics and AI team works across many industry sectors, we are looking for talented professionals to join our Financial Services community.

In this role, majority of you time will manage teams with matrix of skills to work directly with a broad range of clients across financial services to deliver high quality and impactful client engagements. You will become a trusted client advisor and become the main daily contact for clients to offer transformation advice and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to successfully deliver project outcomes.

You will also support our directors and partners to manage client engagements from strategy development to end to end deliverable creation. You will run and manage a project or multiple workstream, creating innovative data solutions to address complex client challenges.

    Within this role you also will have the opportunity to undertake a number of engagements such as:

    • Work with our directors and partners to grow our financial service business, for example by sharing expertise, working with colleagues to develop client relationships or contributing to internal innovations and thought leadership articles
    • Contribute to our financial services community by leading internal initiatives to build industry or technical expertise
    • Present technical solutions to business problems, reduction or control or risk and recommend our clients with the best option to design of scalable dimensional models
    • Act as a subject matter expert to lead the team to provide the analytical, digital transformation strategy, legislation review and scalable solutions development to our clients
    • Manage small project teams and empowering others for problem solving in agile environment
    • Present complex technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders  
    • Contribute to the development of our people, supporting the growth of our Analytics and AI Advisory team through sharing knowledge, insights and training on our offerings and methods
    • Continuously absorbing latest techniques and technologies from market research, to offer new recommendations to our financial services community as well as to our clients
    • Coaching and developing team members and acting as a performance manager

      Operations

      • Proven track record in liaising with clients from financial services to solve their strategic, operational or risk and control challenges
      • Experience to apply industry and capability expertise and act as the "go-to" person for challenges relating to this area
      • Able to articulate complex data solution concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences using storytelling and visualisation techniques
      • Understanding of cost management, finance reporting requirement and accounting standards
      • Experience in delivering proof of concept or minimal viable operational solutions through the entire lifecycle from data sourcing to results
      • Experience of assessing data modelling requirement from our clients and recommend the best data and analytical tools to improve their position
      • Evidence in seeking out and applying new data transformation techniques in an agile environment and achieving results with solid data quality and control
      • Exceptional analytical ability to undertake unstructured problems involving enterprise data with a structured and data-driven approach
      • Experience in data lineage, taxonomies, catalogue and metadata management
      • Hands-on experience in data management tooling (e.g. Collibra, Solidatus, Talend, Ataccama, Informatica)
      • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

      Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
