In the Analytics and AI Capability Unit, we help our customers achieve their strategic goals through the smart use of data, AI and analytics. As an Analytics & AI Director, you will make an impact through creating compelling data and AI strategies, leading complex data programmes, and delivering business outcomes from applied AI and data innovation. This is an exciting time to join our growing team, as you will work at the intersection of industry problems.

We’d love to meet someone with:

You will already be a leader within the field of AI, data and analytics and you want to take your career to the next level. You will likely have experience within a large consultancy, and you will have relationships at senior levels in the defence industry.

Desirable:

  • Good existing relationships with Senior Executives in the defence industry in the UK, focussed on the areas responsible for AI, Data Science and Analytics
  • Experience of defining data strategies and shaping the AI or data science services and solutions that deliver the client’s vision, integrated across technology and business functions.
  • A deep understanding of trends in the AI, data science or analytics market and how these are changing
  • Experience in the application of analytical techniques, for example supply chain optimisation, business intelligence, intelligent automation or machine learning

  • Experience in visual analytics, storytelling and insight generation to inform and influence decision making across senior defence stakeholders
  • Clearance (at least SC level), UK nationality and experience of working at senior levels either in defence related organisations within UK Government, or from private sector defence firms
  • Experience of the latest trends and challenges facing organisations in the defence industry and the strategies being deployed to address them

As a Director you will be responsible for new business / sell-on consulting opportunities in the defence sector in excess of £2m per annum.

You will ideally have:
