Get The Future You Want
The focus of your role
You will be working to help our Banking clients transform their business, in the best interests of their customers. You will be leading or working on projects, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled team.
You’ll be adept at delivering / working on complex projects, breaking down barriers, engaging with stakeholders and planning at a higher level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed.
You will be core to decisions that build high performing teams, where people are excited about the work they are undertaking.
You will bring experience of delivering transformation within Banking institutions (as a consultant or from within a Bank) and have one or more skillsets in:
• Delivering transformational change
• Discovery, analysis, and stakeholder management
• Agile and waterfall project management methods
• Balancing priorities and dealing with ambiguity
• Understanding the digital landscape
• Managing or working within matrix and multi-disciplinary teams
You will have expertise in the analysis, design and / or delivery execution in the following domains:
Onboarding, customer servicing, complaints handling and collections and recoveries; Pricing, underwriting and lending; Fraud, AML and / or KYC; Credit risk decisioning and / or capital modelling and regulatory reporting.
What you will do

Our Consultants are at the heart of delivering profitable outcomes in business and technology-oriented environments, working in a collaborative way with a broad range of clients to achieve their strategic goals. At the more senior levels, you will be expected to lead teams and to become actively involved in future business development opportunities.
• You will work with leading financial services companies to assist them in developing, prioritising and delivering the FS institutions of the future.
• Continue to evolve the Capgemini Invent FS technology strategy for applying leading operational analytics, intelligent process mining, intelligent automation and other solutions including working with an exciting vendor ecosystem.
• You will design and lead streams with a specific focus on reinventing and transforming the performance of Banking and/or Insurance customer journeys and operational functions, whilst also playing a role in Capgemini’s growth through successful delivery, contributing to our offers and knowledge, as well as developing new business.
• You will work with our clients to generate business insights for transformation and optimisation through our operational analytics and identify product backlog activity to transform and realise improvement.
• Run discovery and design workshops with Capgemini Invent clients and technical SMEs to review process insights and root causes and translate into treatment solutions.
• You will identify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful delivery and adoption of our proposed solutions into the business.
• You will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that the team’s plans and objectives are achieved.
• You will bring the right combination of style and substance, ensuring that the basics are right, whilst always focusing on we add value to our clients.
• You will work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement.
What you will bring
You will have good Financial Services and / or Consulting experience with a background in transformation.
You will be familiar with the latest industry trends and innovation. You will be comfortable leading teams and delivering excellence:
• Management consulting experience, or Bank internal transformation experience, with a proven track record of driving value in Consumer, Business, Commercial or Corporate Banking.
• Experience of working with business and IT teams in shaping and undertaking Agile transformation programmes; creating and communication Agile transformation Blueprints and Roadmaps, while linking technology to business outcomes
• Knowledge and experience of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
• A proven track record within transformation and using programme management tools.
• Knowledge of how to shape the business change strategy, scale Agile practices and manage the cultural, governance, environmental and organisational changes involved in accelerating Agile adoption
• Exceptional stakeholder management, with experience of being able to influence senior stakeholders and “get things done” across a range of organisations, varying in size and complexity.
• First class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.
• Experience working with Agile teams such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners etc.
• Strong business acumen, a high level of financial management capability and experience of providing key Management Information to support the business.
• Knowledge and experience of both traditional and Agile budgeting and portfolio management principles and practices
You will also bring:
• Experience in people management and proven ability to nurture and develop individuals.
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in developing, selling and delivering consulting solutions.

Whilst you will have London or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
We offer a remuneration package which includes fixed salary, and in addition for Senior Consultant and above, you will receive variable compensation dependent on company and personal performance. We also offer flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances.
